Sunday March 26th

Attendees' arrival. Accommodation to the hotel.

21.00 Dinner in a tavern

Monday March 27th

8.15 Welcome ceremony at school

9.00 Presentation of the student's work on water.

10.15 Coffee Break

10.30 Information about the chemical methods of water quality measurement by the teacher Stergios Nastopoulos

Recording of an interview of the attendees for the local radio in the school studio.

11.30 app. Departure to the lake coast and practice on water quality chemical methods.

Visit to the old Turkish Mosque "Aslan Pasha", the tomb of Ali Pasha and the Byzantine Museum in the castle.

14.00 Lunch at a tavern by the lake

15.30 app. Cruise on the lake by a boat. Guided tour of the worth seeings.

18.00 Return to the hotel

20.30 Musical presentation by the students with modern and traditional dances

10.00 Dinner at school

Tuesday March 28th

8.15 Departure from the hotel to school

8.30 Departure to the village of Zitsa.

Information about the local history and the important wine tradition of the area.

Visit to a local wine factory.

Visit to the Prophet Elias' Monastery, a historical site, that Lord Byron had spent two nights. He inspired there the poem "Child Harold" (1809).

Visit to Kalamas River and the unique physical bridge "Theogefyro" (God's Bridge).Coffee to a tavern there.

Project meeting session.

13.30 Departure to Ioannina and lunch at a tavern

15.00 Free afternoon for shopping, tour around or visit to the lake island

21.00 Dinner at a tavern

Thursday March 29th

8.15 Departure from the hotel to school

8.30 Departure to Lefkada Island

10.30 app. Arrival at the island

Guided tour and information about the wetlands there by the specialist Mr. Angelos Papadopoulos,

Visit to the Archaeological Collection of the island. Here is the collection of the famous German archaeologist Dornpfeld finds. After him the island of Lefkada is the real Homer's Ithaca.

Visit to the old Monastery of Madonna "Faneromeni" and to Nydri, a famous sea resort, opposite to Aristotelis Onassis island, Scorpios, where his tomb is.

13.00-14.00 Lunch at Nydri

17.00 Departure to Ioannina, arrival and return to the hotel

21.00 Farewell dinner at a local tavern.
